At least they are subtle with women. For men they just come out and say "You have no chance of being happy unless you use our product". Women infer what they want from articles posted.
Yet I dont hear anyone complaining about the media 'corrupting' young men... Double standards? I think so... But us men are used to it by now.
I do agree that the masculine male image in society is skewed as well. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that only women have it bad. Media and Marketing use these false stupid "standards" and "ideal body images" to try and get us to buy their products whether you are male or female.
